About the Melbourne Realist Site

This site was established by friends and relatives of some of the artists involved in 'The Realist Group', as an educational resource for those interested in art, art history and the role of art in society and politics.

We welcome feedback, corrections and contributions.
In particular we are interested to receive input about artists where our information is incomplete.

None of the art works reproduced here are offered for sale from this site.
However some of Vic O’Connor’s works are available in the commercial art market, including Bridget McDonnell Gallery, Carlton, Melbourne.
